Welcome fellow Alaskans,

Thank you for visiting our website which has been created to highlight a serious problem in Alaska politics -- POLITICAL CORRUPTION.

Our state and federal politicians have blemished our good name and have given us a black eye in the national spotlight.  Alaska politicians caught up in a web of special interest shakedowns and greedy scandals are looked on as the embodiment of everything wrong with politics today.

Already, three state lawmakers—including the former Speaker of the House—have been convicted and are serving time in prison.  Three lobbyists representing powerful special interests have admitted to illegal activity and are working with the FBI, IRS and the Department of Justice to expose more corrupt politicians.

We must stop the “pay to play” shake-down of government contractors for cash.  Alaska must end its reputation of being a hotbed of political corruption and under-the-table payoffs.  I’ve decided—and I hope you’ll join me—to do something about it.

Our Committee to Stop the Corruption has filed a ballot initiative called the Anti-Corruption Act with the Lieutenant Governor’s office and is currently on the ground collecting signatures.  This Anti-Corruption Act would do four powerful things:

1.    Stop government contractors from giving money to political campaigns.

2.    Stop government contractors from hiring politicians and their staff members while they are in office and for two
       years after they leave office.

3.    Stop taxpayer funding of political agendas, campaigns, lobbying and partisan activity.

4.    Require Alaska state government to become more transparent in its contract dealings by setting up a Web site to
view and search all government contracts.

I firmly believe the Anti-Corruption Act will be a deterrent to the rampant corruption in our state and help restore faith in our government.

Please sign the petition and join me in fighting for the passage of the Alaska Anti-Corruption Act and help bring some ethics back to our state.

Thank you,

Dick Randolph
